UNIVERSITY INSTITUTES OF TECHNOLOGY is established by UNIVERSITY OF KERALA across the state for training students on technology and management field. They have Bachelors Degree programs for Computer Science, Business Management, Electronics etc..

UIT Center Neyyattinkara is located at Thiruvananthapuram district of Kerala. The building is located in Aralumoodu. The Neyyattinkara center is providing two courses for regular students. They are Bsc Computer Science and BBA. For the academic and nonacademic activities of the students there is a students council established in the college. They are working for activities like conducting sports and arts festivals, celebrations, college day etc..

Students Council was also interested in academic activates like conducting seminars, study tours, source code sharing etc.. For the easy management of these activities, council was divided into AIMS and SACHS for the two courses. Association for Improvement of Management Students and Students Association for Computer Higher Studies. Each of these association was handled by final semester students with complete guidance from teachers and the coordinator.
